Cabot Head Lighthouse Museum
Built: 1896
Viewing: From Hwy. 6 approximately 2 miles north of Miller Lake, turn east on Dyer's Bay Rd. and go about 6.1 miles to the village of Dyer's Bay. Turn north , continuing on Dyer's Bay Rd. another 1.7 miles to a junction with a gravel road. Turn sharply right continuing to follow blacktopped Dyer's Bay Rd. and go about 0.2 miles to a junction with a gravel road marked by a sign "Wingfield Basin & Cabot Head. Travel at your own risk". Turn right on the gravel road and go about 5 miles to the parking area at the lighthouse museum. Although this is a good gravel road , it is narrow, so do not take a trailer or go in a large RV.
