Built:  1853 & 1875

Viewing:  On the south side of Marquette where US-41/M-28 makes a 90-degree bend, go north on Front St., drive about 6 blocks, then turn right at Main.  Go 1 block on Main and turn left on Lakeshore Blvd.  As Lakeshore bears right look for a large parking area on the right, at Ellwood Mattson Park.  From there, you can take a boat tour of the Marquette area that includes from-the-water views of all three Marquette area lights.  Otherwise, continue east on Lakeshore Blvd. until it turns left.  Near that turn, you can park and see the Lower Harbor pier and light, the maritime museum, the U.S. Coast Guard station and the Marquette Harbor Lighthouse.
