Built:  ?, 1884 and 1880.  The Crib Light was originally located offshore at the entrance to the Cheboygan River.  The light was scheduled by the Coast Guard for destruction, but the people of Cheboygan saved the light.  In 1984,  it was moved to its current location in Gordon Turner Park.

Viewing:  To see the Front Range light, from the junction of US-23 and Old US-27 in downtown Cheboygan, go 1 block east on US-23 to Water St.  Turn left on Water St. and go about 1 block and look for the large range light building on your right, adjacent to a Bois Blanc Island boat dock.  To see the Crib Light, continue north on Water St. about 1 more block to where it turns left onto First St.  Go 2 blocks on First St. to Huron St.  Turn right on Huron St. and go about 1/2 mile to Gordon Turner Park.  The River Light can also be seen from this location.   All lights can be seen on the Shepler East Lighthouse Cruise.
